Hi Stacey! We’ve actually spoken on Facebook a few times! You are so sweet and I heart your Blog!! I’m 32 and I was diagnosed with Breast cancer in Sept 2009 (without Medical Insurance… grrr). I am probably partially a result of Petroleum in Perfume. In High School and College- I was notorious for mixing perfumes, lotions and body sprays because I hated smelling like other people. I had signature perfumes and would never tell anyone the names! I really am not sure how these people who know better than the average consumer, who manufacture these products and who profit off of Cancer and other diseases can sleep at night… I haven’t felt safe or slept sound in 8 months (since I was diagnosed)! I have just started a new blog called The Glamorganic Goddess which will review beauty products which are rated below 3 in the EWG’s Skin Deep Cosmetic Saftey Database. Please check it out.
